A creamy and cheesy spaghetti casserole that combines the best of Italian flavors in one comforting dish.

- 12 oz (340g) spaghetti
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup sour cream (optional)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz (700g) marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1–2 cups shredded mozzarella
- Extra Parmesan for topping
- Butter for greasing baking dish
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, drain, and reserve some cooking water.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or sausage; add onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Stir in marinara and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, and garlic powder until smooth, then toss with hot spaghetti.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish. Layer half the spaghetti mixture, followed by meat sauce, then the remaining spaghetti, topped with mozzarella and extra Parmesan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Feel free to customize with vegetables or alternative proteins if desired. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
