- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 2 cups blackberry preserves
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined, then press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until just golden. Let it cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined and spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Pour the blackberry preserves over the cream cheese layer, spreading evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with fresh blackberries before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prepare up to a day in advance for better flavor melding. Best served cold and doesn’t freeze well due to the whipped cream.
