Candy Cane Forest Cheesecake Jars are a delightful and festive dessert perfect for the holiday season, combining creamy cheesecake with crushed candy canes for a refreshing twist.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Extra crushed candy canes for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Stir in the crushed candy canes.
  6. In another bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
  7. Layer the graham cracker mixture at the bottom of each jar.
  8. Top with the cheesecake mixture, then add another layer of graham cracker crumbs.
  9. Finish with a layer of cheesecake and garnish with extra crushed candy canes.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a more intense peppermint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the cheesecake mixture.
