Description

Deliciously rich chocolate peppermint ganache bites that are perfect for the holiday season or any special occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peppermint extract until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
  6. Roll the balls in crushed peppermint candies and cocoa powder.
  7. Place the bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract to 1 tsp.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
