Ingredients

- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and salt until well combined.
- Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
- Pour the mixture into a lined 8×8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Once set, melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the bars.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract to 1 teaspoon.
- These bars can be frozen for longer storage; just thaw before serving.
