Description

Deliciously rich and creamy chocolate peppermint truffle bars that are perfect for the holiday season or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the dark chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined 8×8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Once set, melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top of the bars.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
