Description

A delightful treat that marries sweetness and savory charm, featuring crispy toasted bread topped with whipped cream, juicy strawberries, and rich chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette or Italian bread
  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup Semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar (optional)
  • Olive oil, for drizzling
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) or place your toaster on medium-high. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of salt before toasting until golden, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  2. Whip the heavy whipping cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form, then gradually add powdered sugar to taste and keep whipping until fluffy.
  3. Rinse the strawberries under cool water, then slice them into quarters.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring in between.
  5. Spread a generous dollop of whipped cream on each toasted slice of bread. Layer sliced strawberries over the cream and finish with a drizzle of melted chocolate.
  6. Serve immediately on a grand platter.

Notes

For best results, prepare the whipped cream ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. Assemble the bruschetta right before serving for maximum freshness.
