Instructions

- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth and glossy. Add eggs and vanilla extract; whisk until fluffy.
- Incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Blend the mascarpone cheese with cooled espresso and coffee liqueur until smooth.
- Spread the mascarpone mixture over the first brownie layer, then top with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Use the toothpick test to check doneness.
- Cool to room temperature and dust with cocoa powder before cutting into squares.
