Description

A delicious and creamy Garlic Parmesan Orzo with Broccoli dish that is perfect as a side or main course.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the orzo pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot.
  3. Drain the orzo and broccoli, then return them to the pot.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add the garlic to the orzo and broccoli mixture.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, broth, and lemon juice until well combined.
