Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella stick first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- Place the breaded mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Spray the mozzarella sticks lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
