- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Mix the ingredients until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread ketchup and Worcestershire sauce on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can include diced bell peppers or carrots in the meat mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a side salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
