Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  5. Spread ketchup and Worcestershire sauce on top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include diced bell peppers or carrots in the meat mixture.
