- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup macaroni pasta
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cooked macaroni, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, milk, breadcrumbs, ketchup, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or onions for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
