- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Red and pink food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Divide the dough into two portions. Color one portion with red food coloring and the other with pink food coloring.
- Take small pieces of each colored dough and roll them together to create a marbled effect.
- Place the marbled dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For a more vibrant color, add more food coloring as needed.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
- These cookies can be decorated with icing for an extra touch.
