- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Whipped cream for topping
- Crushed peppermint candies for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of mini tartlet pans.
- Bake the crusts for 5-7 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and salt over low heat until melted and smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the cooled tartlet crusts.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours until set.
- Top with whipped cream and crushed peppermint candies before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the peppermint extract to 1 teaspoon.
- These tartlets can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Feel free to substitute the chocolate cookie crumbs with graham cracker crumbs for a different flavor.
