Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in ranch dressing and barbecue sauce, topped with melted cheddar and crispy fried onions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Garlic powder and smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  3. Arrange the chicken in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Brush with BBQ sauce evenly across the top of each breast.
  5. Spoon ranch dressing over each breast.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar liberally over the chicken.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  8. Add crispy fried onions on top after baking.
  9. Let the dish rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
