Description

Experience the fiery flavor of Nashville Hot Chicken in a delightful slider format, perfectly complemented by creamy coleslaw and crunchy pickles.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Seasoned flour
  • Potato or butter slider buns
  • Shredded cabbage
  • Shredded carrots
  • Mayonnaise
  • Vinegar
  • Pickles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nashville hot sauce: In a bowl, mix cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and oil until well combined. Fill a pot with oil and heat to 350°F. Once hot, stir a portion of the sauce into the oil.
  2. Fry the chicken until crispy: Coat chicken pieces in seasoned flour and fry until golden brown. If using an air fryer, lightly spray chicken with oil and cook at 400°F, flipping halfway.
  3. Toss hot chicken pieces generously in the prepared hot sauce until well-coated.
  4. Assemble the sliders: Place the spicy fried chicken on slider buns with a scoop of creamy coleslaw on top.
  5. Top with crunchy pickles. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Make the Nashville hot sauce ahead of time. Adjust spice levels to suit your taste.
