- 1 package of graham crackers
- 2 cups of shredded coconut
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Whip until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the shredded coconut and chopped nuts.
- Layer the bottom of a dish with graham crackers.
- Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the graham crackers.
- Sprinkle a layer of the coconut mixture on top of the cream.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the cream mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use toasted coconut.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance for convenience.
