Description

A refreshing blend of sweet strawberries and floral lavender, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • 2 Cups Lemon Juice
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Cups Ice Cold Water
  • 2 Lavender Sprigs
  • 6 Big Strawberries
  • Optional: Food-grade lavender oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar, lemon juice, and 2 cups of water in a medium pot. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and add the lavender sprigs and sliced strawberries. Allow to steep for 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the lemonade through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, discarding solids.
  4. Pour in the 2 cups of ice-cold water and stir well to combine.
  5. Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnishing with extra strawberry slices or a lavender sprig if desired.

Notes

Make the lemonade base a day in advance and mix with chilled water right before serving. Avoid bottled lemon juice for the freshest taste.
