Ingredients

- 200g powdered sugar
- 150g egg whites
- 50g granulated sugar
- Red food coloring
- Buttercream or ganache for filling
- Black edible marker for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
- Add red food coloring until desired color is achieved.
- Pipe the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in the shape of Santa’s face.
- Let the macarons rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool completely.
- Fill with buttercream or ganache and decorate with a black edible marker.
