- 2 pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the sweet potatoes in a large pot of salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the sweet potatoes, let them cool slightly, then mash them in a large bowl until creamy.
- Stir in brown sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix chopped pecans with flour, then sprinkle this over the sweet potato mixture.
- Top with mini marshmallows, spreading them evenly.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
