Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and diced jalapeños until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Dredge each ball in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the bites in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
