Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for filling)
- 1/4 cup raspberry puree
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites gently.
- Add vanilla extract and red food coloring, mixing until combined.
- Pipe heart shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the macarons sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then let cool completely.
- For the filling, beat softened butter and powdered sugar, then mix in raspberry puree.
- Sandwich the macarons with the raspberry filling.
