Description

Deliciously crispy avocado fries cooked in an air fryer, offering a perfect contrast between creamy avocado and crunchy coating.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium avocados
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup everything bagel seasoning
  • 2 large eggs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Prepare your working area by lining a small baking sheet with wax paper.
  3. Slice the avocados into wedges.
  4. Combine the flour, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and dried herbs in one bowl.
  5. Prepare the egg wash by whisking the eggs with a little water in a second bowl.
  6. Make the panko mixture by combining the breadcrumbs and everything bagel seasoning in a third bowl.
  7. Coat the avocado slices in flour, dip them in the egg wash, and then coat them in the panko mixture.
  8. Cook the fries in a single layer in the air fryer.
  9. Fry for 4 minutes, flip, spray again, and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  10. Serve with fresh lemon slices and your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. For longer storage, freeze uncooked, breaded fries.
