Description
A delightful and easy apple pie made with crescent roll dough, filled with sweet and tart apples and a hint of cinnamon.

- 2 cans of crescent roll dough
- 2 cups of diced apples
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the filling in a bowl with diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Prepare the pie base by unrolling one can of crescent roll dough in a greased pie pan.
- Layer the filling over the crescent dough base evenly.
- Add small chunks of butter on top of the apple filling.
- Seal the pie with the second can of crescent dough, pressing seams together.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for shine.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Make ahead the apple filling a day prior and store in the fridge. Bake fresh when ready to serve.
