- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Pastel-colored glaze (powdered sugar and milk)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan generously with butter or cooking spray.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, large egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined to keep donuts light.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan cavities, filling them three-quarters full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until donuts spring back when touched.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar with milk to make the glaze, then dip the tops of the donuts and add sprinkles.
Notes
These donuts can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or frozen for up to 2 months.
