- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups of vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 container of whipped topping (or whipped cream)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Make the pudding: In your mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and lump-free. Allow it to set for a few minutes until thickened.
- Layer the wafers: Begin by layering half of the vanilla wafer cookies in your 9×13 inch dish, evenly covering the bottom.
- Add half of the pudding mixture over the wafers, spreading it gently to cover them completely.
- Arrange a layer of sliced bananas over the pudding, ensuring each piece has a place in this delightful creation.
- Spread half of the whipped topping over the bananas, smoothing it out nicely for even coverage.
- Repeat the layers starting with the remaining vanilla wafer cookies, followed by the rest of the pudding, another banana layer, and the remaining whipped topping.
- Cover your masterpiece with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving.
Notes
Make ahead for better flavor melding. Avoid over-soaking wafers to prevent sogginess.
