Description

A simple and fun way to make homemade bread with minimal mess and maximum flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 packet instant yeast, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon sugar in a large resealable bag. Seal and shake to mix the dry ingredients.
  2. Add 1 cup warm water and 2 tablespoons olive oil to the bag. Seal and knead until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Allow the dough to rise in the bag for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Transfer the dough to a floured surface, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased bread pan or on a baking sheet.
  6. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

Customize your bread by adding herbs, cheese, or nuts. For make-ahead options, let the dough rise in the fridge overnight.
