- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine: Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the smoked sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sliced sausage. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Infuse with garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in the cream: Lower heat, pour heavy cream into the skillet, and mix to combine. Add Cajun seasoning.
- Melt the cheese: Gradually stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Add reserved pasta water if needed for creaminess.
- Combine pasta and sauce: Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated.
- Season: Taste and add salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve: Transfer to plates and garnish with chopped parsley.
