Ingredients

- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch baking pan with butter or parchment paper.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Incorporate the melted butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Scatter chocolate chips evenly over the pressed mixture and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the caramel layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
Experiment with different types of chocolate chips or toppings. For a quick bake, use an air fryer.
