Description

Delicious tater tot cones filled with a savory mixture of ground beef, cheese, and condiments, perfect for parties or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups Tater Tots
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Bits
  • 1/2 cup Pickles, diced
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Cooking Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the tater tot package instructions, typically around 425°F (220°C).
  2. Shape your tater tots: Place the cooked tater tots in a bowl and gently mash them together, forming cone shapes. Fit them snugly into a baking dish, standing upright.
  3. Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain off any excess fat.
  4. Mix in the bacon bits, diced pickles, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  5. Fill the cones: Generously fill each tater tot cone with the cheeseburger mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar on top of each filled cone.
  7. Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted and the cones’ edges are golden brown, roughly 10-15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize the fillings or try using sweet potato tots for a twist. These cones can also be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving.
