- 1 cup sweet cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup amaretto
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl and whip until smooth and creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Soak the ladyfingers in amaretto for just a second or two on each side to avoid sogginess.
- Layer the soaked ladyfingers in a 9×13-inch serving dish.
- Spoon half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle a layer of chopped cherries on top.
- Repeat the layering process with remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cherries.
- Chill the assembled tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
