Description

A luscious pie combining rich dark chocolate with fresh strawberries, topped with whipped cream for a delightful dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add melted dark chocolate.
  5. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, blending until creamy.
  6. Fold in half of the whipped cream, then mix in the remaining whipped cream until smooth.
  7. Spoon chocolate mixture into cooled crust and chill for at least 4 hours.
  8. Top with sliced strawberries before serving.

Notes

Chill the pie overnight for the best results. Add strawberries just before serving to keep them fresh.
