- 1 cup maraschino cherries
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Drain the maraschino cherries and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the crushed graham crackers and chopped nuts into the cream cheese mixture.
- Take a cherry and wrap a small amount of the mixture around it, forming a ball.
- Repeat with all cherries and place them on a baking sheet.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each cherry ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-covered cherry balls back on the baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
- For a festive touch, you can sprinkle some colored sugar on top of the chocolate before it hardens.
- These can be made a few days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
