Description

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Flatten the Bread: Gently roll out each slice of bread with a rolling pin until it’s about a quarter-inch thick.
  2. Spread the Filling: If you opt for Nutella or cream cheese, spread a thin layer onto one side of each slice.
  3. Roll Them Up: Starting from one end, roll the bread tightly into a log, sealing in all the goodness.
  4. Whisk the Mixture: In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with the milk, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined and frothy.
  5. Dip the Rolls: Carefully dip each rolled-up piece into the egg mixture, ensuring it gets well-coated but not overly soggy.
  6. Heat the Skillet: Place a pat of butter in your preheated skillet over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
