Description

Delightful corned beef sliders with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and zesty dressing, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
  • 1/2 cup Russian dressing (or Thousand Island dressing)
  • 3/4 lb corned beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup sauerkraut (drained)
  • 9 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 mini pickles (optional)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley (minced optional)
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (or pickle juice)
  • 1 teaspoon grated horseradish from a jar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients for the Russian dressing in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Drain the sauerkraut thoroughly and press it with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping top and bottom connected.
  5. Spread the Russian dressing on both sides of the rolls.
  6. Layer the bottom half of the rolls snugly in your baking pan.
  7. Top with sliced corned beef, pickle relish, drained sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.
  8. Cover with the top bun.
  9. Combine butter with Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, garlic, and other sauce ingredients.
  10. Brush the top of the sliders with the butter mixture.
  11. Bake covered with foil for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and cheese has melted.
  12. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Assemble sliders in advance and refrigerate. Use an air fryer for quicker baking if desired.
