Description

A hearty and comforting casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, sweet corn, and crispy tater tots, topped with gooey cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion for 6–8 minutes.
  3. Stir in corn, diced tomatoes, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Layer the frozen tater tots over the top of the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, consider using ground turkey or chicken. Feel free to customize with different veggies or cheese blends.
