Description

A rich and buttery Cream Cheese Pound Cake that is moist and dense, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour the bundt pan.
  2. Cream together cream cheese, butter, and sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute the all-purpose flour with a 1:1 gluten-free baking mix.
