Description

Delicious crispy salmon bites coated in panko and served with a creamy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skinless and boneless
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about one-inch cubes.
  2. Combine panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Beat the egg in a separate bowl to create an egg wash.
  4. Dip each salmon piece into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the salmon bites for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to create the Bang Bang sauce.
  8. Serve the salmon bites hot with the sauce on top or on the side, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free panko. These bites can be made in advance and refrigerated before frying.
