- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about one-inch cubes.
- Combine panko breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl to create an egg wash.
- Dip each salmon piece into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Fry the salmon bites for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to create the Bang Bang sauce.
- Serve the salmon bites hot with the sauce on top or on the side, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free panko. These bites can be made in advance and refrigerated before frying.
