- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the breading station by mixing breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Beat the eggs in another bowl and have flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into eggs, and coat generously in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Sear the chicken in melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 20 minutes until cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F/75°C).
- Prepare the garlic sauce by sautéing minced garlic in the same skillet used for chicken for about a minute until fragrant.
- Serve the crispy chicken drizzled with garlic sauce and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
