Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring crispy chicken with a rich garlic sauce and Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the breading station by mixing breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Beat the eggs in another bowl and have flour in a third dish.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip into eggs, and coat generously in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Sear the chicken in melted butter in a large skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 20 minutes until cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F/75°C).
  6. Prepare the garlic sauce by sautéing minced garlic in the same skillet used for chicken for about a minute until fragrant.
  7. Serve the crispy chicken drizzled with garlic sauce and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
