Description

A luxurious cheesecake infused with the rich flavors of baklava, featuring crispy phyllo dough, honey, and mixed nuts, creating an unforgettable dessert experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped mixed nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust by combining melted butter and phyllo dough, layering and brushing each with butter.
  3. Add the nut mixture over the phyllo layers.
  4. Create the cheesecake filling by whipping cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla, then adding eggs and sour cream.
  5. Combine the cheesecake mixture with the phyllo layers and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  6. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
