Description

Delicious Jalapeno Popper Twists with a crispy, flaky exterior and a creamy, spicy filling, perfect for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • Dipping Sauces (optional, such as ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle approximately 12×10 inches and cut it into 1-inch wide strips.
  4. Take one strip of pastry, place a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end, fold the strip in half, and twist it several times to form a spiral.
  5. Place each twist on a prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with the egg wash.
  6. Bake the twists for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Make ahead by assembling the twists and refrigerating before baking. Can also be air-fried for a lighter option.
