- 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
- Dipping Sauces (optional, such as ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle approximately 12×10 inches and cut it into 1-inch wide strips.
- Take one strip of pastry, place a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end, fold the strip in half, and twist it several times to form a spiral.
- Place each twist on a prepared baking sheet and brush lightly with the egg wash.
- Bake the twists for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
Make ahead by assembling the twists and refrigerating before baking. Can also be air-fried for a lighter option.
