Description

A delightful medley of chicken, rice, and vegetables, Chicken Fried Rice transforms humble ingredients into a satisfying meal bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (ideally cold, leftover)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the mixed vegetables and sauté until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs into the center.
  4. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked.
  5. Incorporate the cooked rice and chicken, stirring everything together.
  6. Drizzle in the soy sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Use cold leftover rice for the best texture. Feel free to customize with additional proteins or vegetables.
