Description

A delightful Chicken Kiev featuring crispy coating and a rich herbed garlic butter filling, perfect for family dinners and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blend the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pound each chicken breast between plastic wrap to an even thickness.
  4. Place a tablespoon of the garlic herb butter mixture in the center of each chicken breast and roll tightly.
  5. Dredge each roll in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a skillet and fry each roll until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy the flavorful burst of garlic butter!

Notes

Ensure butter is soft to prevent leaking during cooking. Consider making the garlic butter a day in advance for better flavor.
