Description

These Easy Coconut Dream Bars are a delightful combination of crunchy and creamy textures, infused with the sweet flavor of coconut and vanilla.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the shredded coconut and gently fold until just combined.
  4. Transfer the batter into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden edges form and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely in the dish before slicing into squares.
