Description

Deliciously crispy baked shrimp, infused with zesty lemon and garlic, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted and divided
  • 1 Juice Lemon, freshly squeezed
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt for the topping
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted for the topping
  • To taste Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the shrimp: Rinse under cold water and pat them dry.
  3. Combine breadcrumb topping: Mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Prepare the shrimp marinade: Whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss the shrimp in the mixture.
  5. Preheat the pan: Pour chicken broth and 2 tablespoons of melted butter into a baking pan, heat in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  6. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and sprinkle the breadcrumb mix evenly.
  7. Bake for approximately 12 minutes. For extra crunch, broil for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Air fryer can also be used; reduce cooking time to about 8-10 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
