Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes (Yukon Gold or russet)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar or your choice)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into even-sized cubes.
  3. Toss the potato cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  7. Return to the oven for 5 more minutes, or until the cheese melts.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
