Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

- Whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.

- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until it holds together.
- Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
- Place scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
