Description

A quick and flavorful shrimp skillet featuring vibrant bell peppers and a spicy kick, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the skillet: Heat the butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until they begin to sizzle, releasing a rich aroma.
  2. Add vegetables: Toss in the chopped onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Season the mix: Stir in the minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Allow the spices to bloom for about a minute.
  4. Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink and opaque, around 3-5 minutes.
  5. Garnish and serve: Once cooked, sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve over rice or with crusty bread. Customize the spice level to your preference.
