Description

A comforting dish featuring spaghetti coated in a rich garlic butter sauce, cheesy Italian sausage, and fresh spinach.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Spaghetti
  • 4 cloves Garlic, freshly minced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 8 ounces Cheesy Italian Sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti: Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Brown the sausage: Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and crispy.
  4. Incorporate the greens: Add the fresh spinach and stir for a couple of minutes until wilted.
  5. Create the creamy sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and add grated Parmesan. Stir until well combined and cheese is melted.
  6. Season your dish: Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Combine and serve: Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet until coated in the sauce. Serve warm.

Notes

This dish can be made ahead; simply reheat the sausage and spinach mixture before adding the spaghetti. Customize by adding sun-dried tomatoes or using different leafy greens.
