Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the pie crust until golden brown.
  2. Mix the granulated sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.
  3. Add the milk gradually and whisk until smooth.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the filling into the baked pie crust.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours until fully set.
  8. Serve topped with whipped cream.
