- 20-ounce bag Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
- 6 whole eggs
- 6 ounces cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and cook the crumbled sausage until browned.
- Stir in the flour, dry mustard, and kosher salt, then whisk in the milk until the mixture is thick and creamy.
- Shape the shredded potatoes into discs and heat the Panini press or frying pan over medium-high heat, cooking each disc until crispy and golden-brown (about 4-5 minutes per side).
- In a separate skillet, scramble the eggs with a splash of milk until desired consistency.
- Assemble the stacks by layering each hash brown disc with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese, then drizzle with sausage gravy.
Notes
For a different flavor, try using ground turkey or a plant-based sausage. You can also add sautéed vegetables for extra nutrition.
